Dancing is how Song Yanfei expresses herself and builds confidence.

Her ideal home calls for a dedicated dance studio: a space where she can dance freely and also unwind quietly to recharge.

Within the limited area of 80 square meters, the space integrates multiple functions including a dance zone, lounge, bar and photo corner.

Breaking away from conventional solid-wall zoning methods, designer Kong Xiaoya adopts LIDI’s Soft Bound Series sheer curtains as soft partitions, replacing rigid walls with lightweight drapes.

LIDI Soft Bound · Huanyi Soft Sheer is installed between the lounge and changing area. The tall hanging sheer naturally forms an enclosed curved boundary with a translucent, hazy texture. When drawn open, the whole space feels spacious and bright; when closed, it delivers a strong sense of privacy. It enables functional zoning without causing interference between different zones.

LIDI Soft Bound · Yunyi Sheer Drapery adorns the ceiling of the dance zone. Its undulating three-dimensional wave pleats soften the lines of the ceiling. The fluid, flowing form echoes the free and relaxed sense of power embodied in dance itself.

As curtains rise and fall, they define a flexible living space.

Space is not fixed in form.

When the sheer curtains are drawn open, the space broadens up for free dancing. When drawn closed, a private nook unfolds for quiet rest.

Lightweight sheer fabrics break spatial boundaries, enabling even small homes to hold passion, daily warmth and peaceful retreat all at once.
