From March 19 to 22, 2026, Design Shanghai, Asia’s authoritative international design event, will return to the Shanghai Exhibition Centre with a brand-new look. LIDI Smart Window Furnishings will take part in the exhibition with century-old Italian craftsmanship and cutting-edge technological strength. Centered on the theme “Light · Boundary — Smart Window Furnishings Reshape Spatial Poetry”, LIDI unlocks new possibilities for window furnishing aesthetics and invites you to a design rendezvous bridging technology and art.

To help every visitor deeply grasp the core meaning of “Light · Boundary”, LIDI Smart Window Furnishings has carefully built a 155 ㎡ exclusive exhibition hall. Partnering with top talents from four major fields, we construct an immersive experience space integrating technology, art and texture, enabling wonderful resonance between light, shadow and space.
01 Ailo Design: Deconstruct Space through Emotion, Build a Vessel for Light and Shadow
The exhibition hall is fully designed by premium interior design studio Ailo Design. Deconstructing space with delicate emotions, Ailo Design balances visual aesthetics and emotional experience. Boasting both international vision and local insight, the studio consistently pursues its design mission of “creating fantastical beauty”. It makes space more than mere form, endowing it with warmth and resonance.
United by shared design philosophy, the two parties draw on LIDI’s century-old heritage and Ailo Design’s ingenuity in shaping spatial emotion. Centered on “the possibilities of fabric”, we break boundaries and redefine the beauty of fabric. The exhibition hall becomes an artistic vessel for flowing light and shadow; every layout embodies the design wisdom of “coexistence of technology and art”.
02 SATIN: Italian Art Coatings to Define Spatial Texture
The hall’s walls adopt SATIN, Italian art coatings focusing on texture, color and spatial atmosphere, injecting pure Italian genes into light-and-shadow aesthetics. Founded in 1976 at the RIVES factory in Italy, SATIN is one of Italy’s few professional brands dedicated solely to art coatings. Much like handcrafted supercars, it relentlessly pursues purity, staying away from latex paint and industrial mass-produced coatings. It devotes itself to turning walls into expressions of spatial aesthetics.
Its **** made-in-Italy quality, French A+ environmental certification and rich color textures align perfectly with LIDI’s century-long craftsmanship. The two coexist in harmony. Every inch of wall in the exhibition hall carries texture, forming an ideal backdrop for flowing light and shadow, creating a space atmosphere of premium quality and comfort.
03 CAMILLO: Classic Italian Furniture to Accentuate Spatial Style
Furniture inside the hall is carefully selected from CAMILLO, built upon classic Italian design. It inherits minimalist aesthetics and exquisite craftsmanship of Italian home furnishings, merging classic design language with modern residential needs.
Its gentle texture and clean lines complement the textured backdrop of SATIN art coatings and the dynamic light and shadow of LIDI window furnishings. It further reinforces the premium Italian heritage of the exhibition hall, delivering aesthetics and comfort in every zone, achieving harmonious coexistence among furniture, light, shadow and art.
04 Luo Baohua: Collision Between Stone Art and Light & Shadow, Endowing Space with Soul
Classic works by stone artist Luo Baohua will be featured in the hall, creating a cross-border dialogue between window furnishing light & shadow and stone art. As an innovative cross-disciplinary artist, Luo Baohua has dedicated forty years to mineral research and artistic creation. He pioneered the new art form of “luxury stone art paintings”, skilled at integrating nature with technology. At 1300℃, he achieves subtle balance between natural mineral veining and hand brushstrokes. His works have been exhibited at the Biennale des Métiers d’Art du Grand Palais in Paris, winning wide international acclaim.
Displaying his artworks in the hall combines the solid texture of stone art with the flowing light of window furnishings. Nature, technology and art blend and coexist within the space, enriching the artistic depth of the exhibition hall. Visitors can feel the poetry and warmth of residential spaces amid shifting light and shadow.
