Public Welfare Launched for the 130th Anniversary, LIDI Night Upholds Our Original Aspiration
Time marches on, yet the academic legacy endures. Shanghai Jiao Tong University celebrates its 130th anniversary. To carry forward the spirit of SJTU and rally public welfare forces, the 2nd Public Welfare Carnival (LIDI Night) themed “130 Years of SJTU · Walk the Benevolent Path with Antai” concluded successfully on December 13.
Taking the university anniversary as an opportunity and public welfare as the bond, the event gathered alumni from across the university and caring forces from all walks of society. It serves as a heartfelt tribute to the glorious 130-year journey of SJTU, carries sincere wishes for the vigorous development of public welfare causes, and builds a communication platform of “gathering with love and walking forward with kindness”. Every act of goodwill can take root, and warmth keeps circulating between the campus and society.
Alumni Voices Reflect Original Aspiration, Joint Charity Shows Responsibility
As the exclusive title sponsor of this Public Welfare Carnival and an alumni enterprise of Antai EMBA of SJTU, Ms. Shi Zhaoxia, Founder of LIDI, took the stage to deliver a sincere address with deep affection for SJTU and wholehearted devotion to public welfare.
In her speech, Ms. Shi briefly introduced the brand journey of LIDI. The journey of public welfare never lacks companions. The event hosted a warm and solemn award ceremony for the "Annual Charity Star", honoring outstanding individuals and groups who actively engaged in charitable causes and lived up to their original aspiration through actions over the past year.
LIDI was awarded the honor of “Annual Charity Star” for its long-term continuous investment and outstanding contributions in public welfare. Mr. Chen Jun, Co-founder of LIDI, took the stage to receive the award on behalf of the enterprise. This is not only high recognition of LIDI’s public welfare practices, but also demonstrates the firm resolve of the enterprise to fulfill social responsibility hand in hand with its alma mater. Beneath the lights, the medal sparkles brightly, reflecting the sincere heart of every public welfare practitioner and inspiring more people to join charitable causes.

The charity auction session on December 13 was undoubtedly the heartwarming highlight of the carnival. A variety of precious auction items generously donated by alumni and partners were gathered at the scene, including art paintings, exquisite lifestyle goods, limited-edition collectibles and more. These lots are far more than ordinary commodities. Behind each piece lies a unique origin and touching story, carrying the donors’ sincere wishes, blessings for SJTU, and entrustment to public welfare undertakings.
As the auctioneer finished speaking, caring attendees raised their paddles to place bids one after another, with bidding calls rising and falling. Every paddle raise represents an expression of kindness, and every bid translates into tangible support for public welfare projects. From delicate art ornaments and practical daily necessities to limited-edition commemorative collections and heartfelt handcrafted works, each lot gains deeper meaning through the passing of love.
LIDI also took an active part in the auction to support charity with concrete actions. Every bid made on site is not merely a transaction, but a relay of compassion and a transfer of warmth. With the successful conclusion of the charity auction, the LIDI Night · 2nd Public Welfare Carnival of SJTU Antai came to an end.
